The Florida Governmental Utility Authority (FGUA) is pleased to welcome Nassau Amelia Utilities (NAU) customers to the FGUA family of systems. We look forward to serving you, and this page will provide you with important information about the FGUA, scheduled future public meetings, and forms to make your transition to the FGUA more seamless.

  • FGUA Welcome Letter: Letter sent to all NAU customers after both the Nassau County Board of County Commissioners and FGUA Board of Directors Approved the sale of the water and wastewater utility systems from Nassau County to the FGUA.

  • FGUA Notice of Public Hearing for adoption of Rate Adjustments for Water and Wastewater Service Charges and Miscellaneous Charges for the Nassau Amelia Utilities System: Meeting that was advertised in the local newspaper, included with customers’ September 2025 billing statements, and advertised on the FGUA Meetings and Hearings web page.
  • Outages and Notices: We post and update all recent service outages and notices on our website. Customers may receive phone calls, text messages, or door hangers that are affected during an advisory. The page contains “Frequently Asked Questions” concerning out advisories and notices.

In addition, we are excited to offer the following conveniences:

  • Online Bill Pay – at www.fgua.com (you can view you your balance and statement, and make a payment on your current balance.
  • Pay-by-Phone – Pay using our convenient, automated Pay-by-Phone system.
  • Western Union and Amscot: Beginning in November, customer can pay their current bill at any Amscot or Western Union location in Florida.
  • Online Comment Forms: Submit our email comment form with any questions, suggestions, or concerns.
