System: McDill Utility

Description:  FGUA and its operational staff have been located in temporary trailer offices for several years.  FGUA has undertaken the design and construction of a permanent FGUA administrative building to house the onsite staff.  AECOM is providing architectural and engineering services for the building and site facilities.  The new administrative building is roughly 3500 square feet.  During review of the 95% design, it was determined the building should be constructed on piles.  The structural redesign is underway.  The project is anticipated to be solicited for bid in October.  Construction is anticipated to take eight months.
