New Port Richey, FL – Lift Station Improvement

Tuesday, June 23, 2015

After meeting with some residents of Gulf Harbors in New Port Richey, Florida earlier in the Spring, the FGUA was notified of some nuisance issues resulting from a lift station in the community. The lift station was creating strong and unpleasant odors for community members near the community center. Since then, a new odor control system for the lift station was installed in order to address the odor. As a result, we’re happy to report that customer complaints about the lift station have declined since the improvements took place. The project was completed in May 2015.

If you’re having odor issues in your community, please feel free to contact your local office. We welcome feedback from our customers about our operations in order to improve the communities where we operate.
