Trinity, FL – Seven Springs Odor Control

Wednesday, May 13, 2015

The FGUA is happy to report that a project is currently underway in order to address concerns received from customers about odors from the Seven Spring Waste Water Treatment Plant. This project is a follow up to a previous project, which involved installing a dome on the equalization tank, and an odor control filtration system which was successful at abating some of the odors at the plant. The current project will assist by adding carbon scrubbers to the master lift station that brings untreated waste water into the plant, placing a lid on the “splitter” box, which is another area where strong odor has been identified. A pipe will also be installed, connecting the splitter box to the odor control system, which will filter the odors emitted from the splitter box.
