Start Checklist

Here is a handy checklist to assist you with service activation process. Please feel free to use this as you begin to establish service. For more information on this process, please view “Start Service Process.”

For Owners:

  • 1. Gather copy of HUD 1 settlement statement, title, deed, or proof of purchase.
  • 2. Provide a copy of your government issued ID (e.g. Driver’s license, State ID, Green Card, Passport, or Military ID)
  • 3. Download and complete the Service Activation Form
  • 4. Submit your application and your documentation at the same time.
  • 5. Call to determine if there is a lien on the property.
  • 6. Pay over the phone or mail your certified payment to cover the deposit and connection fee (no personal checks please).

For Tenants:

  • 1. Gather copy of lease, rental agreement, or written authorization from owner along with a copy of their ID stating that applicant has authority to start service at the property.
  • 2. Provide a copy of your government issued ID (e.g. Driver’s license, State ID, Green Card, Passport, or Military ID)
  • 3. Download and complete the Service Activation Form
  • 4. Submit your application and your documentation at the same time.
  • 5. Call to determine if there is a lien on the property.
  • 6. Pay over the phone or mail your certified payment to cover the deposit and connection fee (no personal checks please).
