Following completion of maintenance and restoration of service, a Precautionary Boil Water Notice Advisory will be in effect, and will be rescinded once water samples taken to a Florida Department of Health-certified laboratory indicates that the water is safe to drink, most likely Friday, April 5.  During the Advisory, customers are encourged to follow United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines, and bring water used for cooking or drinking to a rolling boil for one minute.  This will neutralize any possible active viruses or bacteria that entered the water during maintenance.  Alternatively, bottled water may be used.   The FGUA apologizes for any inconvenience experienced during this scheduled maintenance and advisory.  Customers with questions concerning their regular service may call FGUA Customer Service at (727) 372-0115.
