The Florida Governmental Utility Authority (FGUA)has lifted the Precautionary Boil Water Notice Advisory due to the following repairs to the Fire hydrant repair on Lassen Ave.; O’hara Ct; Tori Ct; Gator Crossing Pl; and Laverne Ct. r. The following addresses on those streets that were affected has been rescinded.  Water samples taken to a Florida Department of Health-certified laboratory indicate that the water is safe to drink.  The rescission was provided today at 4:42pm.  Customers were notified by door hanger and are receiving Reverse 911 notifications.

The FGUA apologizes for any inconvenience during the outage and advisory period, and delay in Reverse 911 notification.  Customers with questions regarding their regular service may call the FGUA Customer Service Office at (877) 657-8889.

The following addresses will be affected by interruption of service: 2901-3130 Gator Crossing PL in addition to the addresses previously listed. The interruption is expected to be restored by end of business today.

The Florida Governmental Utility Authority (FGUA) will be interrupting water service on Tuesday, September 12th, from 9:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. as crews will be responding to replace a Fire Hydrant and Valve at 6805 Lassen Ave. The following addresses will be affected by interruption of service: 6706-6921 Lassen Ave; 3224-3285 LA Verne CT; 2901-3250 Ohara Dr. and 3114-3150 Tori CT. Following restoration of service, a Precautionary Boil Water Notice Advisory will be in effect and will be rescinded once water samples taken to a Florida Department of Health-certified laboratory indicate the water is safe to drink, most likely by Thursday, September 14th. The FGUA apologizes for any inconvenience customers may experience.  Customers with questions may call the FGUA on (727) 372-0115.

Following restoration of service, a Precautionary Boil Water Notice Advisory will be in effect and will be rescinded once water samples taken to a Florida Department of Health-certified laboratory indicate the water is safe to drink, most likely by Thursday, September 14th.

As a precautionary, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) advise that all water used for drinking and cooking be boiled and indicate that a rolling boil for a period of one minute is sufficient to render water free of bacteria, viruses, and protozoa.  Bottled water may be used as an alternate.
