** UPDATE: (Lehigh Acres) The Precautionary Boil Water Notice issued (Friday, May 26th, 2023) to 31 residences in the Lehigh Acres service area following a eight-inch water main break occurring at 1426 Ford Circle, is no longer in effect.

All biological testing samples were negative and therefore you may resume water usage as normal. The samples were analyzed by a Florida Department of Health-certified laboratory that confirmed the drinking water is safe to drink.

The FGUA would like to apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced during this time and thank you for your patience during the Precautionary Boil Water Notice period. We appreciate your assistance in notifying your neighbors that the Precautionary Boil Water Advisory is no longer in effect.

* UPDATE: (Lehigh Acres) the 8-inch water main break at 1426 Ford Circle, has been repaired and services are now fully restored to the 31 households affected by the water main break. Affected customers have been noticed by door hanger and by call notification.

Water samples will now be taken and submitted to a Florida Department of Health-certified laboratory,  we expect the advisory to be rescinded once water samples indicate the water is safe to drink, most likely by Monday, May 29th, 2023.

(Lehigh Acres) The Florida Governmental Utility (FGUA) has received a report of a 8-inch water main break at 1426 Ford Circle.  31 homes along Ford Circle and Hampton Avenue may be experiencing low pressure or without water.  Crews are on site and repairs underway.  Services are anticipated to be restored by 9:00AM.

The affected customers will be under a Precautionary Boil Water Notice Advisory once repairs are completed. Water samples will be taken and submitted to a Florida Department of Health-certified laboratory, the advisory will be rescinded once water samples indicate the water is safe to drink, most likely by Monday, May 29th, 2023.
