The Florida Governmental Utility Authority has experienced a 4 inch water main break at 104 Quail Road Location. The break was reported around 1:30pm. The number of affected connections is 110 residents, all of Cotton Tail, Sugar Creek, Grove Ridge and 3020 – 2976 Thorn Hill.
Once repairs are complete, a Precautionary Boil Water Notice Advisory will be in effect, and the advisory will be rescinded once water samples taken to an independent Florida Department of Health-certified laboratory indicate that the water is safe to drink, most likely Saturday, January 21. Door hangers and a Reverse 911 Notification will be provided to affected customers this evening. All customers have been notified.
