The Florida Governmental Utility Authority (FGUA) received notification from the laboratory today at 9am that all clearance samples collected for the recent boil water event have returned satisfactory, the boil water notice is now rescinded, and all customers may resume water usage as desired.

The Florida Governmental Utility Authority (FGUA) has issued a Precautionary Boil Water Notice Advisory for the 40 FGUA customers due to a 1” svc line that broke at the main at 10042 Milano Dr. The water was disconnected at 4:00 pm and estimated to be up by 7:00 pm.
Location and Number of Affected Connections:
9944 – 10205 Milano Dr.
Total of 24 locations.

Water samples will be taken to a Florida Department of Health-certified laboratory and once indicated the water is safe to drink the Boil Water Notice will be rescinded, most likely within a few days. All affected customers have been notified.
