Update 09/08/2023 4:27pm
The Florida Governmental Utility Authority (FGUA) Precautionary Boil Water Notice Advisory for the 2 FGUA Seven Springs System customers on Friday, September 8th, as the FGUA repairs a watermain on Milano Dr.
The service was interrupted at 1:30pm. The following customers will be affected by this activity: 10150 Milano Dr and 10205 Milano Dr.
The service was restored at around 2:15pm.
Following restoration of service, a Precautionary Boil Water Notice Advisory will be in effect and will be rescinded once water samples taken to an independent, Florida Department of Health-certified laboratory indicate that the water is safe to drink, most likely by Sunday, September 10th. During the Advisory, customers are encouraged to follow United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines, and bring water used for cooking or drinking to a rolling boil for one minute. This will neutralize any possible active viruses or bacteria that may have entered the lines during the improvements. Alternatively, bottled water may be used.
The FGUA apologizes for any inconvenience customers may experience during the interruption and advisory. Customers with questions concerning their regular water service may call the FGUA Customer Service Office during regular business hours (Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.) at 727-372-0115.
